Alzheimer's Society

 

Meets on the 1st Thursday of each month (1.30pm) at the Newport Cottage Care Centre.  The Society's Shropshire Branch welcome carers, families and friends of people with Alzheimers Disease and other related dementias to their support group meetings.  The meetings are informal over a cup of coffee and offer support, information and guidance.

At SMART TOTS, our philosophy is simple - we provide a fun, educational and creative experience.  SMART TOTS classes aim to develop your child's creativity through experiencing the key skills of SONGS, MOVEMENT & ART.  Each session has been designed and written by a qualified and highly experienced primary school teacher, with each session around an educational theme.

 

TCAT Essential Skills Group

 

The group meets in the Youth Cafe every Wednesday during school term time from 12.30 to 3.00pm.  The tutor teaches literacy, numeracy and basic ICT.  The literacy and numeracy covers basics to Level 2 (GCSE A to C equivalent).  Classes and qualifications are free.
